Our on-site visit also provides a guarantee for the insurance company that the works of art or valuable items are physically at the location during our visit.

We are independent agents on the art market, with no conflicts of interest, ideally placed to advise on the auction house most likely to obtain a sale for your work of art, at the best price and with the best terms.
The service of researching the market and putting you in contact with an auction house is free of charge.
Collection management
Private and public collections
Collectors or their family office engage our services to ensure the management of their collection (certificates of authenticity, state of conservation, appraisal of changes to artist popularity, valuations).
We can also support the collector in any of their art work transactions, from acquiring new pieces to the sale of part of their collection.
Condition reports
Because moving a work of art always carries a risk of damage, we offer the 'Condition report' service. This is the guarantee for our client that his piece - on loan or in transit - is in the same condition on its arrival and on its departure.

We have the pleasure of having Agata on our team of experts. Her technical approach to restoring paintings, her extensive network of museum restorers and her knowledge of history of art are valuable skills which cater to the growing demand for restoration from our clients.

When you opt to buy or use a collection management software system which is already available on the market, you accept that the software provider will have access to your personal and confidential data. Genève Inventaire offers you a tailor-made alternative.
We support your in-house team of developers1 to together create a made-to-measure software system that matches your needs perfectly.
Access is restricted to you only and the data is stored on your own server, and you therefore control the privacy of your data, in a safe and secure way.

By simultaneously combining around ten variables specific to your piece, Algorium gives an up-to-date and objective value which corresponds to the market.

At Genève Inventaire, Herbert's role is to carry out a detailed examination of your work of art, undertake any scientific studies that are required, and make contact with the legal representatives of the artists to obtain the precious certificates of authenticity.
His role is also to gather all the sales records from auctions and all the prices applied by art galleries for works similar to yours.
