Herbert Hosotte

Advisor in works of art

After his History of Art studies at the École du Louvre, in 2006 Herbert joined the team of specialists at an auction house based in Geneva. For ten years, he honed his expert eye on all the works of art submitted to him for examination and expanded his body of knowledge day after day.

In 2020, he obtained the university diploma (DU) “Artwork appraisals” from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas to further his knowledge of scientific authentication techniques for works of art and of the legal developments in the field.
